The Chelsea TIERCE — the boot a family spent fifty years learning how to make.
The style dates to 1851, when J. Sparkes-Hall, bootmaker to Queen Victoria, patented a boot that pulled on with elastic panels instead of laces. A century later it found a second life on London's King's Road, where the Chelsea set gave it the name it still carries.
Designed by Brazilian footwear designer Vinicius Dapper and handcrafted in Brazil, TIERCE keeps what made the original work and gets the details right: full-grain leather that softens and gains character instead of cracking, elastic gores that hold their shape after hundreds of pulls, and a sole flexible enough to walk a city in.
Every pair is made in Brazil and brought to you in the U.S.
